Coffee grown without shade. This coffee is being grown in full sun; compare with the shade coffee--different varieties grow under different conditions. Native to Ethiopia, coffee grows as a shrub or small tree. Each fruit contains two coffee beans (technically, they are seeds) that will be dried, roasted, and ground before they can be used to create a cup of coffee.
