Wild turnip. The cultivated form of this species produces three very different foods: turnips, leafy greens, and rapeseed ("canola") oil. The turnip itself is a swollen section between the stem and root, while oil is pressed from the seeds. Known from the Mediterranean region for over 2,000 years.
