Use of EcoLibrary Materials

While we retain copyright to all EcoLibrary materials, we are allowing them to be freely used for educational and non-profit purposes, according to the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial license. For the official language of this license, please click here.

Teachers and students are welcome to download and use EcoLibrary materials for classroom teaching and learning, either for projection or inclusion in written reports. We ask that you not change the names of files, so that these materials can be identified as part of EcoLibrary.

Non-profit organizations are welcome to use EcoLibrary materials in their publications (assuming that the publications are distributed free of charge). We simply ask that you give a credit line of "© Dan L. Perlman/EcoLibrary.org." We would greatly appreciate receiving pdfs (or hardcopy) of any publications that use EcoLibrary materials. Please email these to info@ecolibrary.org.

Organizations wishing to reproduce EcoLibrary materials in books or electronic products that will be sold, should contact us beforehand at photos@ecolibrary.org, so that we can discuss terms of usage and distribution.
